Wine and Travel Writer Kia McInerny

Kia McInerny is an international wine and travel writer whose enchantment with wine and wine-making has taken her to Burgundy, the Loire, Tuscany, the Mosel River Valley, Austria, Napa, Sonoma, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand and Oregon's Willamette Valley. Kia's stories have appeared in such forums as Decanter Magazine (U.K.), Silver Kris (Singapore Airlines in-flight magazine), Eating Los Angeles, Lexus Magazine, Montecito Journal, Sommelier Journal, Ireland's Eye and Spokane Spokesman-Review, among others. Kia has been writing about wine for over a decade, since touring the Chianti region of Tuscany. She is a frequent attendee of Anthony Dias Blue's wine panel events for Tasting Panel Magazine. With her photographer-husband, Kia lives in Montecito and Los Angeles, from whence she travels widely to record ~ and enjoy ~ the best of wine country living.

Kia's story Zebra Sheets earned a Writer's Digest Honorable Mention Story Award. Kia's experience as an attorney in international finance led to Max in Filmland, a smart, refreshing comedy of manners about a young man with an acute case of style-envy in '70s Euro-Hollywood, and Bond Hunter, a combustible Euro-thriller in which a young lawyer is drawn into an international landscape of danger in her attempt to redeem billions of dollars in German gold-bonds issued during Hitler's rise to power.
